HIGH PERFORMANCE, ENHANCED CEMENT BASED ADHESIVE FOR TILES & NATURAL STONES

KRETE'O'FIX OPAL is a high performance, high quality polymer modified cementitious tile adhesive with improve adhesion. It is a high adhesion strength, thixotropic tile/stone adhesive with extended open time and reduced slip. Suitable for bonding porcelain tile, vitrified tiles, natural stones, mosaics etc. on both floors and walls in internal & external areas. Krete'O'Fix Opal can be used for setting tiles in demanding applications such as under floor heating installations.

USAGE

  • On traditional substrates with cement-based plaster.
  • RCC walls & floors, precast panels etc.
  • Standard cement-based screeds & Anhydrite screeds .
  • Laying on top of old existing floors (ceramic, porcelain stoneware, marble).
  • Any type of ceramic, porcelain, vitrified tiles, natural stones, marble etc.
  • Cementitious waterproofing Swimming pools, wet areas.
  • Fibre cement panels.

APPLICATION

Mixing Ratio : 5 – 5.5 L of water for 20 kg
Density of the Mix : 1.65 ± 0.05 kg/L
Application Temperature : From +5°C up to +45°C
Pot Life : 2 hours Open Time : 25 ± 5 min
Correction Time : 20 ± 5 min
Walkability : After 16-24 hours
Grouting on Wall : After 10 -12 hours
Grouting on Floor : After 24 hours
Coverage : 3 mm bed thickness – approx. 3 Kg/ m2
                6 mm bed thickness – approx. 6 Kg/ m2

STORAGE

KRETE'O'FIX OPEAL remains stable for 12 months from the date of production inside its original sealed packing. It can be stored in protected dry area in temperature between +5 °C and + 42 °C.
